Local Travel Excursions​

TERMS & CONDITIONS
Before we finalize arrangements for your packaged events, you will need to submit an agreement to these terms and conditions:
Local Travel Excursions, LLC (“LTE”) acts as a sales agent for any airline, hotel, car-rental company, tour operator, cruise line, or other service provider named in your itinerary (“Suppliers”). LTE is not responsible for acts or omissions of the Suppliers or their failure to provide services or adhere to their own schedules.

LTE assumes no responsibility for and shall not be liable for any refund, personal injury, property damage, or other loss, accident, delay, inconvenience, or irregularity which may be caused by: (1) any defaults, wrongful or negligent acts, or omissions of the Suppliers; (2) any defect in or failure of any vehicle, craft, equipment, or instrumentality owned, operated, or otherwise used or provided by the
Suppliers; or (3) any wrongful or negligent acts or omissions on the part of any other party not under LTE’s control. You hereby release LTE from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph.  Travel arrangements involving airline and boat components are subject to supplemental price increases that may be imposed by the supplier and/or government after you have completed your
purchase. You hereby consent to any such price increases and authorize your credit or debit card to be used for them. Suppliers have their own contracts covering cancellation penalties and other terms and conditions, and that you may be bound by those contracts regardless of whether you receive notice of their terms.

LTE has no special knowledge regarding the financial condition of the Suppliers, unsafe conditions, health hazards, weather hazards, or climate extremes at locations to which you may travel. For information concerning possible dangers at destinations, LTE recommends contacting the Travel Warnings.  Section of the U.S. State Department at (202) 647-5225 or www.travel.state.gov. For medical information,
LTE recommends contacting the Centers for Disease Control at (877) FYI-TRIP or www.cdc.gov/travel. You assume full and complete responsibility for checking and verifying any and all passport, visa, vaccination, or other entry requirements of your destination(s), and all conditions regarding health, safety, security, political stability, and labor or civil unrest at such destination(s). You hereby release LTE from all claims arising out of any problem covered in this paragraph. You agree that the courts in Pinal County will be the exclusive jurisdiction for all claims brought by you or LTE, and you hereby submit to the personal jurisdiction of those courts.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
If a reservation is cancelled, for individual or group, the right to receive a refund is limited. All cancellations are subject to a processing fee of $75 per person. Cancellations received within 45 days prior to trip departure are subject to 100% cancellation fee, unless customer provides a replacement. A replacement for a cancelled party is an individual who occupies the specific room space and bus seat the canceling party vacates. Cancellations received more than 45 days prior to trip departure are subject only to Local Travel Excursions, LLC Terms & Conditions to the processing fee, however, the remaining occupants in the room shall be obligated to pay for the difference in the per person room rate. All packages that include airfare are subject to the identified airline terms and conditions and cancellation policy.  

 

Notification of cancellation must be sent in writing to LTE and shall be effective the date received by LTE.  The Advance Group Deposit of $250 per group is non-refundable if the entire group cancels at any time.  In the event the tour program is changed and the substitution is of greater dollar value, as advertised by LTE, LTE will pay the additional cost. In the event the tour program substitution is of a lesser
dollar value, as advertised by LTE, LTE will not refund the difference in price between the tour program selected and the actual destination program. Any refund(s) will be sent directly to the participant on the specific condition that the acceptance of the refund releases LTE from all present or future claims by the participant. The destination hotels, transportation companies, in addition to all other providers of services,
reserve the right to remove a person engaged in illegal or disorderly conduct from the tour without refund. In the event of inclement weather or any Act of God, which causes delay, LTE will reschedule your excursion. Limited Refunds will be given for trips rescheduled due to any Act of God. There will be a $45 charge for all returned checks.

INSURANCE
For your protection, LTE strongly recommends that you purchase travel insurance covering cancellations as well as insurance covering complications from medical procedures abroad. For your protection, we strongly recommend that you purchase trip cancellation and travel accident insurance.  However, no representation or description of the insurance made by our staff constitutes a binding assurance or promise about the insurance. We also strongly recommend that you use a credit card for your purchase, so that you can exercise your rights under the Fair Credit Billing Act if you do not receive the services you purchased.
